A magical Christmas show about friendship and dreaming big
A magical Christmas show about friendship and dreaming big
It is almost Christmas, and Pip the Penguin is up to his beak in letters. As head of the Hopes and Dreams department at the North Pole, it is his job to make sure that Santa receives everyone’s letter in time. Pip and his assistant, Esme – the loveable squirrel, go on wonderful adventures taking inspiration from the letters they read. Esme soon learns that Pip has a big dream of his own that he’s never shared with anyone. He dreams that one day he will be able to fly. But penguins can’t fly! What if there was a way that they could? This magical story of friendship and self-belief shares the joy of Christmas and spreads festive cheer with original songs for all the family to enjoy.
Pip’s Post Room was the resident children’s show at the Chelmsford Theatre Studio in 2021.
Pip’s Post Room was originally commissioned and performed at the Winchester Discovery Centre. Special thanks to Patrick Young, Jeremy Cole, Mark Pyke and the Theatre Royal Winchester for their support.
